The collection of unbounded sheets or groups of sheets, notepads and a new notebook – material found in Maria Valtorta’s house during the first restoration in 2001-2002 – gives life to the The Little Notebooks that collect Maria Valtorta’s writings that remained unpublished until 2007.

They integrate the writings published in the three volumes – of about 700 pages each – entitled The Notebooks 1943, The Notebooks 1944, The Notebooks 1945-1950. Their production dates can be integrated among those of the three volumes mentioned above and continue until the year 1954. At the end of the book there are some undated and undatable writings.

The variety of topics covered, similar to that of the “Notebooks”, suggested the generic title of “Quadernetti”, The Little Notebooks. They mainly present dictations of Jesus and mainly deal with the following themes:

• The beginnings of the Church
• Crisis of the Church
• Comments of Jesus on the Our Father and on the Hail Mary
• Pastoral councils
• Clarifications on evangelical texts
• Messages from Mary
• In the appendix are collected the “revelations” to Maria Valtorta about the tomb of St. Peter.

The volume consists of 288 pages.
